Minister of Industry and Trade, Hon. Dr. Selemani Jafo, has participated in the ceremony of completing one year since the establishment of the Saturn Car Connecting Factory, located in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam. Speaking at the event held on 11th May, 2025, Hon. Jafo has praised the efforts of the factory by increasing production from 630,000 tonnes to one million per year, according to a statement released by the Director of the factory.
Also, Minister Jafo has called on the Rural and Urban Roads Agency (Tarura) to ensure that the maintenance of the eight kilometers long stretch of Kimbiji-Mwasonga road is completed quickly to enable better transport of goods from the factory and stimulate business in the area.
On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCIA), Industry Development Manager, Ezekiel Kahatano represented the Executive Director of TCCIA, Mr. Oscar Kissanga, showing support for the efforts of the government in promoting industries and employment for Tanzanians.
