The Minister of Foreign Affairs and East Africa Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania , H.E. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, has arrived in Vietnam and held talks with the Vice President of Viettel Company, Colonel Dao Xuan Vu, at the company’s headquarters in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The talks aimed at discussing the new investment opportunities available in the country and strengthening cooperation in the trade and investment sectors.
Minister Kombo is in Vietnam for a business visit, accompanied by the Tanzanian Ambassador in that country who resides in the People’s Republic of China Hon. Khamis Omar, Director of Diplomacy Department for Economic and International Trade, Hon.Ambassador John Ulanga, Director of Asia and Australasia Department Mrs. Felista Rugambwa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, President of the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) Mr. Vicent Minja and the Director of the Tanzania Investment Center, Mr. Gilead Teri.
