TCCIA Hosts High-Level Chinese Delegation to Strengthen Trade and Industrial Ties with Tanzania

In a significant step toward bolstering economic relations, the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (TCCIA) recently welcomed a distinguished delegation from China, led by Mr. Wenbao Tan, Director General of the China-Africa Industrial Cooperation Promotion Center. The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Leonard Shayo, CEO of TTI (Trade, Tourism, Investment).

The high-profile meeting, hosted by TCCIA Executive Director Mr. Oscar Kissanga and Vice President Mr. Mwilima, centered around expanding and deepening trade and industrial collaboration between China and Tanzania. Discussions were focused on key sectors, including infrastructure materials, healthcare equipment, agriculture, and household consumables, with an emphasis on strengthening import-export activities and promoting industrial development. Both parties expressed a shared commitment to fostering a mutually beneficial partnership that will drive economic growth and enhance bilateral trade between the two nations.
