The Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (TCCIA) has urged business leaders and private sector heads to actively participate in the business-to-business (B2B) meetings organized by the Chamber to foster and strengthen commercial partnerships. This appeal was made by TCCIA’s Business Development Manager, Mr. Mercy Philipo, and Membership Manager, Mr. Kelvin Ogodo, during their recent discussions with Gaggles Logistics Company, led by Mr. George Charwe, a new TCCIA member.
Mr. Mercy Philipo emphasized, “We advise institutional leaders to allocate time to attend B2B meetings, where they can connect with fellow entrepreneurs from various countries and finalize business agreements and partnerships. Tanzanian businesses often send representatives who lack decision-making authority, which delays the achievement of business agreements.”
In addition, Mr. Kelvin Ogodo highlighted, “TCCIA is committed to supporting this company in achieving its international market goals and partnerships by facilitating connections with our various stakeholders abroad.”
The TCCIA delegation also presented a membership certificate to Gaggles Logistics and provided policy advice and advocacy support for the company’s development. This gesture underscores TCCIA’s dedication to facilitating business growth and enhancing its members’ access to valuable opportunities.
By encouraging active participation in B2B meetings, TCCIA aims to enhance the engagement and effectiveness of Tanzanian businesses in the global market, ensuring they benefit from significant networking and partnership opportunities. This proactive approach reflects TCCIA’s commitment to supporting its members and driving economic development through strategic business collaborations.
