The Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA), led by its CEO Oscar Kissanga, has made an official visit to the CRDB Bank Headquarters in Dar es Salaam and held talks with the CEO of that bank, Abdulmajid Nsekela.
The aim of the visit was to discuss areas of collaboration between the two institutions, especially in empowering youth through financial education, entrepreneurship, business opportunities and regional marketing.
Speaking at the session, the CEO Oscar Kissanga, explained that his institution has planned to partner with CRDB in preparing Tanzanian youth to participate fully in economic development and stressed that financial, business and entrepreneurship education are key pillars for youth development.
And the Bank’s Managing Director, Abdulmajid Nsekela, explained CRDB’s readiness in partnering with TCCIA to assist the youth by providing financial education through various programs such as coaching, mentorship, and capacity building, aimed at building the youth confidence, business knowledge and financial skills.
This cooperation is expected to be a catalyst for the development of the youth in the country and increase the scope of cooperation between the financial sector and the private sector in general.
