The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Hon. Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, have witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the President of Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture(TCCIA) ,Mr.Vicent Minja and Assistant Minister for Economic Affairs and Trade UAE, Mh. Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri of Federation of Trade and Industry Associations of UAE on the establishment of a Joint Trade Council between the United Nations The Arab Emirates and Tanzania on 05 May, 2025 at the White house in Dar es Salaam.
Also, Hon. Dr. Samia together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Hon. Abdullah Bin Zayed, have witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the facilitation of the construction of the Emirates Hospital – Tanzania Bukoba. In Kagera province.
In addition, President Samia witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on cooperation in investment in the mining sector as well as cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters.
